2005
gak kerasa tahun 2005 sudah hampir usai
rasanya kayak mengedipkan mata aja deh..
time really does fly by so fast
last year, i spent new year's eve in my room
i slept at 11PM, not even waiting till the countdown
and woke up the next morning, like any other day..
i never one to like enjoying new year's eve in a party
though i've had my share of experiences
booking a room in the middle of the city is also not my cup of tea
it just never part of my interest
for me, the end of the year should be a time to reflect
time for yourself, to be with family, or loved ones
i'd rather spend my new year's eve with people whose company i enjoy
doesn't matter the place i hangout, as long as i'm with them
my dream was always to have a new year's eve around the nature
in a cabin somewhere in the forest while with people i love
tapi ga pernah kejadian.. hehe.. soalnya ga semua agree with that idea
last year, i decided not to be with anyone. just by myself.
cuz it was a sad time for all of us, after the tsunami and all
kayaknya ga pas aja kalo dipake buat hura2..
plus i don't really enjoy it in the first place anyways..
tonight is the last night of year 2005
reflecting back to the year.. let's see what i've done so far
hmm...
january, i went to bali for a photo hunting while looking for business opt
february, i started my first job in indonesia since i got back
march, i started the on-the-job training at work
april, enjoying my work
may, i got typhus
june, project at work kicked off, i was made team leader
july, things started to get busy at work
august, i put my website on-hiatus officially
september, i got sick again.. and took off from work finally.. for a day!
october, my first anniversary back home
november, lebaran.. and work is as busy as ever
december, i got my bonus.. still no love life.. and i found a new job
so now.. i'm opening a new year with a new page and a new job.
my last year's resolution was to find a job. and i did.
a job i really enjoyed though it has taken most of my time.
so my resolution for 2006 is..
well, i'm running out of them..
i don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing.
so i guess it shouldn't be so pathetic if for once in my life
my resolution would be...
to find love again.
it's not too pathetic, is it?
